End of Summer Hues

By now, I’m longing for fall, but that’s because we live where summers are hot and long. And fall is nowhere near in the month of August, even if I do wish it were! We are still wearing shorts and dresses and everything cool. And in every color. I wonder what colors you like to wear at the end of summer?

Solid tees and Layered necklaces – I love a good oversized tee with flowy jeans, and green is a fave. I recently found these layered necklaces on Amazon that are so fun. And so inexpensive. They’re great for any color of t-shirt at all! Aren’t they cute?
These Shorts – I found these shorts and bought them in black and gold. I have enjoyed them so much. They’re from Amazon. I do have to hang them to dry, but I don’t mind it. I have a rack in the guest tub, and these shorts dry in seconds. If you order them, size up. They can be dressed up or down, worn around town, or for date night!
A Jumpsuit – I happened to find this jumpsuit on clearance at Target and went ahead and got it…for the fall…when it arrives. Jumpsuits are tricky things and sometimes a pain to wear, but I find that I do best when I wear them to a short event, not an all day affair. And this jumpsuit is so versatile in its neutral hue.

New Jeans – Someone mentioned these jeans, stating they were “perfect” because of the stretch, the length, the fit, the comfort, etc. And they did not lie. And the price point is amazing, as well. I really like them. They will definitely be something I wear on repeat.
Basic black and white – A good white tee is hard to find, but I snagged one at Old Navy. It’s got the crew neck and longer sleeves, and it’s a cute length. Worn with black pulla pants from Old Navy, you can then add a purse of any color across your body!

Or wear your basic black and white, and add a tote and a bag for an end of summer weekend getaway!

Look in your close for neutrals and staples. Put together an outfit, and then add some color in your accessories! Grab some end of summer sales and wear them and enjoy them! And let’s all hope that September brings a bit cooler temps…at least below 100!​
